Wild and crazy Saturday night!

Hello!

So, I really threw my parents for a loop with my sleep! I was going anywhere from 1-2 hours at night before I need Mommy. I got better last week though, and I went for 5 hours! Then, I went for almost 4 more!!


Well, last Saturday, it was the weekend, so I figured I should really party!! My normal bedtime is now 9:40 with Daylight Savings Time, and I usually get tired around 9. Well on Saturday, I didn't want to go to sleep. I wanted to play, so I did. I was in a great mood and it was so much fun playing with Mommy and Daddy!! Finally, they laid me down in the big bed downstairs, and we kept playing!! Daddy was talking to me, and I just got so pooped, I fell asleep. Mommy and Daddy were real worried since I never stay up that late, and I usually need Mommy to help me get to sleep! Don't worry! Nothing's wrong!! it was just a Saturday night and I wanted to see what was going on!


Happy St. Patty's Day! Mommy says I was her little leprechaun. Avo said that I was a Portuguese leprechaun. I am not wearing tights. They are Baby Legs! Aren't they cute?

I can blow raspberries now! I even do it in my sleep, but I mostly do it when I am bored.

I also really like to read. Daddy says I'm Mommy's boy. See how hard I am concentrating?





I love to sit up, but I still have trouble doing it on my own.

I saw Mr. Jason, Daddy's friend, last weekend. Mommy and Daddy say that I have 2 uncles, Tio Paul and Uncle Ryan, so I won't be calling any other adult uncle or aunt. Mr. Jason was nice. He clapped his hands and I watched.

Mommy and I had a real scare this week!! Mommy sat me down outside while she hung up some laundry. Then we went up front to get the mail. When we returned, there was a raccoon on my deck!! Mommy tried scaring it away while she got me inside. Then Mommy put me down while she got my seat and the clothes inside. I was so scared, but I was a good boy who didn't make a peep even though I was tired. Mommy thinks there are babies living under the deck and that the raccoon was a Mommy. Mommy said she would protect me from the raccoon. Mommy, Daddy, and I think raccoons are gross.


Oh, did I tell you about my first photo shoot? It went great!! Mommy dressed me up as a little sailor! Mommy and Daddy picked out some pictures. I was sleeping while they did it, so I cant wait to see them!


I still LOVE to eat!! This shirt sums it up. Tio Paul said he liked this picture of me :) Mommy says I look like a big boy!


Mommy put me in a big boy stroller and strolled me around the house the other day while she listened to the tv. I was a good boy and enjoyed being pushed around, but I don't know what happened to my sock.


And, Mommy said I can finally go up to MA Easter weekend!! We'll be staying for more than just the weekend. Mommy and I wish we could've come up earlier, but I have lots of appointments, and Daddy has important stuff to do at work. I can't wait to meet everyone!

It's been so long!!

It's been SO long since my last post!! Did yo know that I am not a little baby anymore? I am more than 4 months old!! On my 4 month birthday, I was 26 inches tall and weighed 16 pounds and 4 ounces. Daddy thinks I've already gotten taller!! Again, there are so many new and exciting things going on in my life, which is why Mommy and I have been too busy to post.

Two weeks ago, Vavo and Avo came down to visit on their way to visit Baby Elaina. They are the best!! They hold me, talk to me, and play with me :) Vavo even rocked me to sleep! I was supposed to see them again this weekend down at Elaina's, but Mommy and Daddy are afraid I'll catch Elaina's cold. Mommy and I were really upset that we couldn't go, but she said it's for my own good.

Avo is going to stop by here this evening. I hope I am awake so he can hold me and I can listen to his deep voice.


This is what I do now:

1. Mommy and Daddy bought me an exersaucer. I love to spin the colorful toy, and I love to swivel on the seat. I really concentrate, too. Mommy says I look like Daddy when I concentrate.
Daddy put a telephone seat under my feet since I'm not really tall enough for it.

2. Mommy put the high chair together. Now I can sit up tall and watch Mommy work in the kitchen, or sit with her while she eats lunch. I can' wait until Mommy makes some food for me. She says I have to have milk only for 2 more months.


3. Mommy finally got her Ergo. It's a new carrier. It was so fun to go in it while Mommy was shopping. We went to Target, Marshall's, and Cosi. Mommy shopped. I slept.

4. I found my thumb!!! I sometimes put one or both of my hands in my mouth, but I now sometimes prefer just the thumb.

Right now I am sleeping in the Moby with my index finger in my mouth.

Mommy and Daddy have tried every paci out there, and I've refused all, so it's nice to have my thumb. Mommy hopes I can find it when we are driving. I don't like my carseat and usually end up screaming if we have to stop. Listening to Starlight sometimes helps.

5. I've started physical therapy!! My PT's name is Diane. She's nice. The first time she came over, I was really sleepy and cranky. Mommy couldn't get me to sleep all morning, so it was really tough. She came yesterday and I had just woken up from a nap. She showed Mommy all these things to do with me to keep my body straight. She also let me lay down on a red peanut!

6. I can laugh now!! Mommy wasn't feeling so great the other day, so she kissed me on the cheek. As she did, I went "hee hee hee hee hee" It cheered Mommy right up!! Then she tickled my belly, and I laughed again. I haven't done it since. I am waiting for something really funny.

7. I don't sleep well anymore. I wake up every 2 hours. I'm usually in a pretty good mood, When Mommy comes to pick me up, I always flash her a smile and I sometimes talk to her. She always tells me not to smile at 3 am, but she says it in a nice way, so I think she's just kidding. Mommy is hoping that I am just going through the dreaded 4-month growth spurt and that its not related to a change in sleeping locations.


I also don't sleep much more than 30 minutes at my naptimes. Mommy and Daddy still hold me for naps. Mommy has tried putting me down, but I wake right up and I don't go back to sleep. Later, I get cranky because I am tired so Mommy sometimes gives up on putting me down. I'm so lucky. She just wants me to be a happy baby. And, I am!!! :)



8. I like to sit up on couches and chairs. I have hat head.

Will someone please play with me?

9. i have to wear a bib since I drool too much.
The other day, I visited Daddy at work. I wore my Nike suit since my Daddy works at a gym. Daddy said I could work there, Everybody loved me!! Some people even held me! Did you know that I LOVE being held? It was great looking around at every thing. It was so exciting. Mommy said I am very smart because I just try to observe everything. Daddy said it's not polite to stare. Then, Daddy was talking to 2 ladies, and I was being a good boy sitting and listening. I love hearing people talk. At home, Mommy and I talk all day!!!
Well, Mommy and Daddy are going to figure out a time for me to meet Elaina
and the rest of my family. We'll let you know when I can finally go up to MA! Should I wear this when I come up?
