Mother's Day and Memorial day

Hello everyone!

Mommy celebrated her first Mother's Day with me! Here we are together.

I love to sit up and play. See all my toys? My physical therapist says I'm doing a great job learning to sit all by myself. Before you know it, I'm going to have Mommy chasing me all over the house!

Here is my crazy hair after one of my baths.

I like to "thumb" things. I touch things with my thumb only. It's a fun way to explore the world around me.

I had my very first playdate. It was a lot of fun. As you can tell Jimmy and I are having a blast. It was nice to sit in my old bouncy seat again. Mommy is afraid that the thing will break with my weight.

Here I am laughing at Mommy. She always does silly things to make me laugh.

I finally got to see the ocean over Memorial day weekend! It was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined!

The ocean air was the best

I just tried to soak it all in.

I also made sure to dress in beach appropriate clothing.

It was great spending the weekend with Avo and Vavo at their cottage on the beach. I loved listening to Avo speak. I even growled back, but Mommy couldn't get it on video. Growling is one of my new favorite things to do.

I loved staring at all the cars and people going by. I am a very nosy baby.

We couldn't keep the paparazzi away.

Of course, Mommy still had me do my belly time. See how strong I am getting?

I am just dreaming of all the days I'll be spending as a beach bum.

And finally, I am 7 months old!!! Can you believe how big I am already? I can do many things,, like sit up on my own and growl. I am a very happy baby who does not like to sleep at night. I am eating solid foods, and I like all my veggies so far, except peas, which I kept spitting up. Mommy says I can try carrots and green beans, then finally on to fruit! I also got a big boy stroller from Grammy and Poppy, so now I won't be in my baby stroller anymore. It was really embarrassing going to a store and seeing all the little babies in big boy strollers, and there I was in a baby stroller. Geez mom.

Here are some pics from my mini-photo shoot with Mommy.
Do you like my big boy outift?

Stay tuned for updates on Mommy and my adventures with cloth!

Well, I finally got to meet Elaina. She is the prettiest baby girl!

Elaina was so nice! She let me play with all her toys.

I really liked the aquarium with the fishies. Mom said I could get one if I'm a good boy!

When Elaina was in her bouncy seat, I was a good boy and didn't reach out for her.

But, I couldn't resist eating her toys.

Sorry, Elaina!

She also let me go on her swing!
Wee!!! Too bad I only liked it for about 5 minutes!

Here I am with Aunt Jess. How did she know my favorite English song?

I also got to spend time with Tio Paul. He's great! I liked looking at him.

I surprised him with how heavy I was. Thanks for holding me, Tio Paul!

He liked my PJs, too. (They're Patriots.)

We also went for a walk. Elaina let me use her big boy stroller. I like it. Mommy said she might get me one since I only have a baby stroller.

We've been having fun at home since our trip. Mommy did my hair real special after bath time.

I tried a new food..acorn squash. Mommy makes the best food. I really did like it better the next few days when Mommy let me feed myself.

But, I'd rather have Daddy's chips. I have 2 teeth now, so I should be able to eat these!

Mommy finally figured out an easy way to upload video. Here I am doing my favorite thing...shrieking loudly. Vavo and Avo have already heard me doing it in the background while Mommy was on the phone. I can get really loud and go on and on. Mommy loves it and imitates me, but she wonders if she should stop encouraging me since I am now starting to shriek when we are out in public.

Now, I'm back to just hanging out at home. No babies - just me, Mommy, and Daddy. Till next time - Michael Paul.

6 months and 1 week!

I am 6 months old! Do you believe it? Mommy is a little sad that I am already a half-year old, but I am excited because I can do so many great things! I can sit up now (with Mommy and Daddy’s help, of course).

And, I can roll over from back to belly. Daddy, do you think I look chunky?

I had a great day on my birthday! Here are some pics from my photo shoot with Mommy.

Here I am doing my favorite thing on my birthday...playing!

I even got to spend some time outside!

For my birthday, Mommy didn’t make a cake since it was Daddy’s birthday the week before, and Mommy says we have too much junk in the house. She said I might get one for my next birthday since she wants to practice decorating. Maybe she’ll let me have a bite, because I am finally eating solids!

Here I am waiting. Like my new, big ,bib? It brings out the blue in my eyes.

Here is Daddy feeding me some avocado. I didn’t like it at first.

But it started to taste better!

Then, Mommy switched things up and gave me sweet potatoes. She went through all the hard work to make it herself, so I feel bad not eating it, but I’m not sure I like it.

Actually, I only like it when Mommy lets me feed myself.

It'll be acorn squash, next, and then butternut squash. I hope I like them better!

Also, I drink out of a sippy now! No more bottles! Yippee!! Mommy and Daddy are teaching me how to drink, but it mostly dribbles out onto my bib.

Mommy and Daddy think I am starting to look like Mommy. What do you think? Do I look like Mommy when she was a baby?

Someone said to me mom, "SHE is adorable." Do I look like a "she"? This is what I was wearing. Tio Paulo says they are baller shorts and they're supposed to hang low 'n wide.

Here are Mommy and me. I still love being worn.

and spending time outside, looking at all the beautiful flowers and grass that Daddy grows.

Well, I have a very exciting day tomorrow. I get to meet my cousin Elaina. Tonight, Daddy was packing, and I asked if I could share his suitcase. He said "sure," so I jumped in!

It was quite comfy!

I'll post an update when I return!
